Film Opening Sequence (Scene and Shot selection)

 

This is the first rough version of our film opening sequence. In this version, we combined only raw footage in chronological order. This was to give us an idea on how long the sequence will turn out and roughly what it would look like, to give us an idea on our music choice. Planned in the final version are text, sounds, split screen, colour grading and smoother transitions, as well as camera cuts for each scene. A part of this is to be included in our next version. In consultation with the assistant editor, we decided on the linear structure of our sequence and which shots would work best at each time, as well as their entry in and entry out points.
